Event Vault matches most of what EventMobi’s attendee app and organiser console do, and adds the parts a congress spends its preparation on. Both publish their prices and neither takes a fee on ticket sales. EventMobi starts at $3,000 per event or $8,900 per year for unlimited events, and you connect your own payment gateway.
Where they differ:
- Cost at conference scale. Event Vault’s entry event plan is €500 plus €1 per attendee. For a 500-delegate congress that’s roughly €1,000 against €2,750.
- Bundling. Every Event Vault feature is on every event plan. EventMobi’s app, registration, and check-in/badge printing are separately licensed, with streaming from $500 per event, badges from $3.99 each, hardware rental around $1,000, and integrations quoted at $500–$1,000 each.
- Congress work. Event Vault runs speaker logistics from invitation to the day itself, formal votes with member whitelists and proxies, and abstracts with e-posters. EventMobi’s Call for Speakers covers submissions only, and it documents no travel logistics, voter whitelists, proxies or abstracts module.
- A branded app. About two weeks with Event Vault, published from our developer accounts or yours. EventMobi quotes four to eight weeks, and you must own the Apple and Google accounts.
- Language. Directory listings credit EventMobi with “27 languages,” but its own help centre states the app supports exactly two at a time, a primary and a secondary, and “any customisable text for the Event App will need to be translated by your team.” Event Vault ships English and Dutch and adds further languages on request.
- Where your data lives. The only infrastructure entry in EventMobi’s published sub-processor schedule is AWS in the USA, and its data processing addendum states that “As a Canadian company, EventMobi does not need to rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses… we do not include them in our standard Data Processing Agreement.” Event Vault stores event, guest and speaker data on Google Cloud in the EU; sign-in accounts are processed in the US by Firebase Authentication.
EventMobi wins on virtual events, SSO, SOC 2 and a few other points, listed further down.
